Our Story

A humble homestead, and you're invited.

Tucked among the pecan trees in rural Beaumont, Mississippi.

About the Farm

Real farm life in rural Mississippi.

Fulmer's Farmstead sits on a working homestead in Beaumont, Mississippi — about 30 minutes east of Hattiesburg off Highway 98. The property is home to the General Store, Garden Shop, historic century-old cabins, a horse barn, livestock pens, vegetable gardens, RV sites, and vacation rentals. Vintage farm equipment and nostalgic memorabilia are scattered throughout.

Life on the Farm

The animals are the heart of the homestead.

In any given season you'll find chickens and pigeons roosting, cows, sheep, and pigs grazing in the pasture, and farm dogs and cats roaming the orchard freely. The stars of the farm are the strong, majestic Percheron draft horses — a heritage breed that does the hard work of plowing our gardens for homegrown vegetables. Watching them work is something you don't forget.

Since 1986

A community gathering place for generations.

Fulmer's Farmstead has been welcoming visitors, neighbors, and travelers for decades. The Mississippi Pecan Festival — held every September since 1986 — draws crowds from across the region for local artisans, pecan dishes, live entertainment, and a beloved community tradition. Christmas in the Orchard brings families together each December for dinner, horse-drawn wagon rides, and carolers under the open sky.
